State Senator Tim Schaffer visited the Central Ohio Aerospace & Technology Center to tour the Boeing Virtual Customer Integration Lab. He was invited
as part of the Port Authority's caucus-building strategy to keep state and federal officials informed and engaged with retaining and growing the impact
of the COATC.
Schaffer put on the 3-D goggles and learned the power of the VCIL as a communication, training, and manufacturing process improvement device. Port Authority
CEO Rick Platt reviewed recent projects and how seemingly small changes in state policy can greatly affect public-private partnerships like the one between
the Port Authority and Boeing.
