STEM LEARNING FOCUS OF AIR FORCE GENERAL VISIT
Lt Gen Robert McMurry Keynote Speaker for STEM Learning Discussion at The Works

HEATH –The Heath-Newark-Licking County Port Authority will host Lieutenant General Robert McMurry, Commander, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, for the keynote address at a special meeting of the STEM Advisory Council at The Works. The discussion is centered around the importance of science, technology, engineering, and math skills to sustaining business and Air Force missions.

The event will begin Friday, June 1, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. inside the new SciDome at The Works: Ohio Center for History, Art, and Technology, 55 S. First Street, Newark. The attendees include business leaders, elected officials and representatives of state, local, and federal levels.

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center is headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and is the single center responsible for total life cycle management covering all aircraft, engines, munitions, and electronic systems. The Command includes the Air Force Metrology and Calibration (AFMETCAL) program located at the Central Ohio Aerospace and Technology Center in Heath.
