“CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF SUCCESS” IS THEME FOR TUESDAY CEREMONY
Recognition for Personnel With 20 Years or More Service Among Events Planned
HEATH –The Heath-Newark-Licking County Port Authority will host Major General Warren Berry, Vice Commander, Air Force Materiel Command, for the keynote address at a celebration to mark the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of the Central Ohio Aerospace & Technology Center. A highlight of the event themed “Celebrating 20 Years of Success” will include recognition for personnel at the Aerospace Center with 20 years or more service. An employee to be recognized includes a person with 54 years of service.
The event will begin Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. outside of the Horton Building on the campus of the Central Ohio Aerospace & Technology Center at 813 Irving Wick Drive West in Heath. The ceremony will be under a tent west of the building. Major General Berry will be available to media for 15 minutes following the ceremony.
The Central Ohio Aerospace & Technology Center was established in October 1996 to house the privatized workload of the former Newark Air Force Base. The Aerospace Center is owned and managed by the Port Authority.
