PORT AUTHORITY RECOGNIZES VERMAATEN’S 10 YEARS OF SERVICE
HEATH, OHIO -- The Heath-Newark-Licking County Port Authority today recognized John Vermaaten for 10 years of service. He is Project Manager for the Port Authority.
He has held his current position since December 2005 and is responsible for management of construction projects and oversight of property management functions at the Port Authority. He joined the Port Authority in July 1998 in the facilities department.
Vermaaten is a graduate of Newark High School. He resides with his wife and two daughters in Newark.
Vermaaten will be recognized with a 10-year service award at the August meeting of the Port Authority Board of Directors. He is, astonishingly, the sixth of the Port Authority’s seven employees to pass the 10-year service milestone.
