HEATH – A Port Authority-led contingent visited Washington yesterday and a web page has been set up to summarize the day’s events.

The contingent met with U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown, U.S. Representative Zack Space, and U.S. Representative Pat Tiberi. A briefing with legislative staff of the Ohio congressional delegation and other staff meetings put the 11-person Licking County contingent in touch with officials from both U.S. Senators from Ohio and 11 of 18 Ohio Congressional offices.

The Port Authority will continue its caucus-building efforts with a similar series of meetings in Columbus as part of Ohio Aerospace Day on May 7. Meetings that day are set with State Senator Tim Schaffer, Representative Jay Hottinger, and other state officials.
