PORT AUTHORITY RECOGNIZES HANDLEY’S TEN YEARS OF SERVICE
HEATH, OHIO -- The Heath-Newark-Licking County Port Authority recently recognized Dave Handley for 10 years of service. Handley is Environmental/ Safety Coordinator for the Port Authority.
Handley first joined the Port Authority as part of the Newark Air Force Base Reuse Commission in January 1996. He became a full-time Port Authority employee upon the privatization of the base October 1, 1996 and is the Port Authority’s longest-serving staff member. His responsibilities include management of safety, environmental, utilities, and regulatory compliance issues for the Port Authority and the Central Ohio Aerospace and Technology Center.
Handley is a graduate of Muskingum Area Technical College. He resides with his family in Frazeysburg.
He will be formally recognized at the February 2006 meeting of the Board of Directors.
The Heath-Newark-Licking County Port Authority owns and manages the Central Ohio Aerospace and Technology Center, a 350-acre business campus with a $200 million annual economic impact.
