The Aerospace Center accepted a VIP visit. Boeing Defense, Space and Security President and CEO Dennis Muilenburg toured the Boeing facilities at the Aerospace Center and addressed Boeing employees.

In the photo, Doug Clark explains to Dennis Muilenburg the work his area performs on the Antenna Radio Frequency Processor in the Advanced Warning and Control Systems-Electronic Systems Measures area in Heath as Center Director Charles Dutch looks on.

This excerpt followed the visit on Boeing intranet news:

You can't visit Ohio without getting caught up in Buckeye football mania -- even if the college football season is three months away.

At the conclusion of Boeing Defense, Space and Security President and CEO Dennis Muilenburg's all-employee meeting in Heath on Wednesday, Center Director Charles Dutch presented him with an Ohio State University football jersey.

The presentation led to the inevitable yell of "O-H" by one employee, followed by all the employees chanting "I-O." Muilenburg then put on the jersey and led another round of the cheer.

Muilenburg began the visit by meeting with employees in the ICBM Systems and Airborne Warning and Control Systems-Electronic Systems Measures areas who explained their job responsibilities.

During the all employee meeting, Muilenburg urged employees to "think about how everything you do everyday connects to at least one of the BDS Strategic objectives."

"The Heath team has a great reputation for delivering quality products to their customers at affordable costs," he continued. "As one of our company's strategic fabrication centers, you are enabling future competitiveness; and your expertise is directly supporting national security."
